Excellent Performance

The German Founders Award, sponsored by the Association of German Savings Bank, McKinsey & Company, the German television network ZDF and the weekly magazine Stern, was presented by Wolfgang Clement, the Federal Minister of Economy, in recognition of entrepreneurial solutions for social challenges. Antisense Pharma was honored in the category "Visionaries" for striking new paths in the development of therapies for particularly malignant forms of cancer.

The Bavarian Innovation Prize is awarded every two years by the Bavarian state government. Endowed with the sum of 100,000 Euros, the award is one of the most prestigious national technology prizes. Antisense Pharma received this award from the Bavarian state minister, Dr. Otto Wiesheu, at the Bavarian State Chancellery in 2004.

In 2009 and again in 2011 Antisense Pharma has been honored one of the 100 most innovative middle size companies. The certificate is based on a comprehensive benchmark-analysis conducted by the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Vienna Univerity of Economics and Business, Austria. Antisense Pharma received this award from Prof. Dr. h. c. Lothar Späth.
