Antisense Pharma dedicates itself to developing new therapies that increase the life expectancy and improve the quality of life of cancer patients. The antisense drug candidate trabedersen is being tested in different clinical studies.

The international pivotal clinical Phase III study, SAPPHIRE, for refractory or recurrent anaplastic astrocytoma (malignant glioma, WHO grade III) or secondary glioblastoma (malignant glioma, WHO grade IV) was terminated prematurely, due to slow patient recruitment. We wish to point out that the drug trabedersen is not yet approved for market. For legal reasons, its use is restricted to patients participating in our clinical studies. Trabedersen is not available from Antisense Pharma or any other source, therefore.
